If you love spicy dishes, you will love this delicious Thai basil beef! Super quick for a weeknight meal, ground beef is browned with garlic and Thai chilies. Then delicious, fresh Thai basil is added off the heat and gently wilted in. Serve over steamed cauliflower rice. Recipe below says 2 servings of Thai chilies which is 2 chilies. Also, be sure to use Thai basil for the basil in this recipe!

How to Make It

Step 1

In a medium-sized non-stick skillet, heat the avocado oil until hot over medium-high heat. Add in minced garlic and minced Thai chilies. Saute for 30 seconds.

Step 2

Add in the ground beef and cook until nicely browned about 8-10 minutes.

Step 3

Add in the soy sauce, fish sauce, oyster sauce, and brown sugar sweetener. Cook until meat is nicely glazed and brown.

Step 4

Take the meat off the heat and add in 1 cup of fresh Thai basil leaves and gently fold them in until combined.

Step 5

Serve over cauliflower rice!

  • Avocado Oil – 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic, Fresh – 4 clove
  • Bird Eye Chillies by Tesco – 2 serving
  • Hamburger Or Ground Beef, 90% Lean – 1 pound
  • Soy Sauce – 1 tablespoon
  • Fish Sauce (nam Pla Or Nuoc Mam) – 1 tablespoon
  • Chinese Oyster Sauce – 2 teaspoon
  • Brown Sugar Replacement by Swerve – 1 tablespoon
  • Basil – 1 cup, whole pieces
  • Cauliflower Rice – 2 cup
