How to Make It
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
Step 2
Peel the shallots and slice in half lengthwise. Arrange across a shallow oven tray and drizzle over the oil, syrup, and vinegar. Finely chop the rosemary and sprinkle over the shallots and season. Use your hands to rub the seasonings into the shallots.
Step 3
Transfer to the oven to roast for 20 minutes until soft and caramelized, turning halfway through.
