These sweet and spicy chicken thighs are baked until sticky and caramelised in a maple flavored low carb syrup with garlic, balsamic vinegar and dried chilli flakes.Perfect served with a refreshing
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
Add the syrup, oil, crushed garlic, vinegar and chili to a mixing bowl. Stir together well to combine.
Arrange the chicken thighs in an oven proof dish and season to taste. Drizzle the sweet chili syrup over the chicken thighs, turning the chicken in the marinade so that it is well coated.
Transfer the chicken to the oven to bake for 35-40 minutes or until completely cooked through and the marinade has caramelized around the edges. Baste the chicken halfway through cooking with the sweet chili marinade.
