How to Make It
Step 1
In a cast iron skillet, heat the marinara sauce and cream cheese together over a medium heat until the two emulsify. You should have a light pink/orange sauce that is thick and bubbly.
Step 2
Stir in all the seasonings. Chop and stir in the pepperoni as well. At this point, turn on your oven’s broiler.
Step 3
Once the dip is heated through and fragrant, turn off the stove. Arrange 2 slices of mozzarella cheese on top of the dip. Heat the skillet under your broiler for 3-4 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Step 4
Serve hot! The original recipe here makes approx. 1 ½ cups of dip.
