Hot chocolate sounds perfect as it is, but when combined with just a small amount of orange, the result is absolutely amazing. Although oranges are not typically recommended on the Keto diet, a small amount of orange juice doesn’t have enough carbs to make much difference. This warm drink is an amazing treat for cold winter days or when you’re craving something sweet and satisfying. It takes only 15 minutes to create a cup of this fantastic creamy drink you’ll love.

How to Make It

Step 1

In a small saucepan, add almond milk and orange juice. Stir well. The mixture should be fully combined.

Step 2

Heat on the stovetop, over medium-low heat until warm but not boiling. Stir in the dark chocolate, unsweetened cocoa powder, erythritol, and vanilla extract. Gently simmer until the chocolate has completely melted. Stir occasionally.

Step 3

Pour the hot chocolate into serving cups. Garnish with sliced orange and dried orange peel. Serve immediately as a wonderful afternoon treat.

    0.5 tsp
