How to Make It

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 200 C/ 400F. To a pan over medium heat, add the Italian sausage and cook it for 2-3 minutes, breaking it up using a wooden spoon until it is no longer pink. Set the pan aside.

Step 2

To each bowl add 1 tbsp of pizza sauce. Chop the onion and green pepper into 1/2 inch squares. To each bowl, add a layer of sausage, onions, and peppers, then sprinkle some mozzarella cheese.

Step 3

Add another layer of sauce, sausage, onions, and peppers, and finish off with mozzarella cheese and parmesan. Cut the pepperoni slices into quarters. Add them to the surface of the pizza bowls.

Step 4

Bake for 15-20 minutes until the cheese starts to bubble and gets slightly golden. Let the pizza bowls cool for 3-5 minutes. Serve immediately.

Ingredients

  • Margherita Premium Pizza Sauce – 4 tbsp
  • Italian sausage – 4 oz
  • Mozzarella cheese, whole milk – 0.5 cup, shredded
  • Parmesan cheese, fresh (hard) – 2 tbsp, grated
  • Onion, white, yellow or red, raw – 0.13 small
  • green pepper – 0.25 small
  • Pepperoni – 4 slice – each 0.1 ounce
