Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and cover a shallow oven tray with a sheet of foil.
Melt the butter in a microwave or over the stove, then add to a small mixing bowl. Finely slice the garlic and roughly chop the capers. Add to the melted butter along with the lemon juice and zest and mix well to combine.
Arrange the broccolini across the foil lined tray and nestle the cod fillets in between. Season with the salt and pepper.
Drizzle the flavored butter mixture over the cod and broccolini.
Lay another sheet of foil on top of the fish and vegetables and fold the edges together, creating a loose parcel.
Transfer to the oven to bake for 15-18 minutes until the broccolini is tender and the cod is cooked through.
