How to Make It

Step 1

Fill a glass with cold water and brew a bag of hibiscus tea in it for at least 4 minutes. You may also make real iced tea by brewing the tea hot and then steeping and chilling the tea overnight. However, this way is much faster. When the tea is brewed, discard the bag, and stir liquid stevia, erythritol, and a pinch of salt into the cold tea.

Step 2

Cut a lime wedge into two pieces, and muddle them in the bottom of a new glass. Choose a glass that holds at least 16 fluid ounces because you’ll need the extra space. Once the lime is muddled, top with thin slices of fresh cucumber. Then, fill the new glass with ice cubes.

Step 3

Pour the hibiscus tea over the ice, cucumber, and lime. To top off the drink, add a splash or up to ¼ cup of plain or lime-flavored sparkling water. Drink right away while the drink is cold, fizzy, and replenishing. If you want a stronger hibiscus flavor, you can brew two tea bags in one glass.
