Add your half cup of hot decaf coffee to a large mug. Add the butter and sweetener, if using, and stir to dissolve. Use a handheld stick blender or milk frother to carefully blend the coffee and fat.
Add the almond milk to a small saucepan over low/medium heat. Heat through until piping hot, but don’t boil. Remove from the heat and carefully blitz with a frother or stick blender until the milk is fluffy and doubled in volume.
Carefully pour the hot milk into your prepared butter coffee. The milk should sink towards the bottom whilst the froth remains on top. Serve hot.
