These sweet chocolatey bars are loaded with healthy fats from mixed nuts, coconut oil and butter. The nuts are pulsed to form a thick crumb consistency then baked until golden.

How to Make It

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit and line a loaf tin with baking paper.

Step 2

Add the flaked almonds, ground almonds, pecans and filberts to a food processor. Pulse a few times to create a chunky crumb/oat like consistency.

Step 3

Add the butter, coconut oil, cocoa powder, erythritol, vanilla and salt to a small pan over a low heat. Stir well to combine, melting the fats, until you have a smooth chocolate sauce.

Step 4

Remove the pan from the heat and tip the nut mixture into the chocolate sauce. Stir well to combine, coating the nuts evenly.

Step 5

Spoon the mixture into the lined loaf tin and, once cool, press into an even layer. Transfer to the oven to bake for 18-20 minutes until cooked through and the nuts are golden brown.

Step 6

Set aside to cool completely then transfer to the fridge for 1 hour to set further. Slice into 6 individual bars to serve.
