How to Make It

Step 1

Slice dried tofu into thin strips.

Step 2

Slice celery into thin strips at a bias.

Step 3

Heat a heavy bottomed pan over medium-high heat until hot, add avocado oil. Swirl the pan with oil. Add minced garlic and stir briefly.

Step 4

Add tofu and stir fry for 2-3 minutes until browned.

Step 5

Add celery (cut on a bias into thin strips) and stir fry again for 1-2 minutes until celery is still crispy, but not raw. Drizzle in tamari and sesame seed oil. Taste adding a pinch of salt if needed.

  • Avocado Oil – 2 tablespoon
  • Garlic – 2 clove
  • Spiced Jumbo Thick Dry Tofu by Water Lilies Food – 8 ounce
  • Celery Stalks – 5 large – stalk – 11″ to 12″ long
  • Tamari Sauce – 2 teaspoon
  • Sesame Oil – 1 teaspoon
