These keto green beans are sautéed with butter and garlic until tender, then tossed with aromatic fresh herbs. These would make a great side to accompany roasted chicken or pork or lamb.

How to Make It

Step 1

Add the green beans to a pan of boiling water and simmer for 4-5 minutes until just tender.

Step 2

Melt the butter in a skillet over a medium heat. Thinly slice the garlic and add to the pan, sweating gently until tender. Add the green beans and toss in the butter. Sauté for a minute or two until hot through.

Step 3

Remove the pan from the heat and roughly chop the herbs. Add to the pan and toss to combine.

  • Green Beans (string Beans), Raw – 3-½ ounce
  • Butter – 1-½ tablespoon
  • Garlic – 1 clove
  • Peppermint, Fresh – 1 tablespoon
  • Parsley – 1 tablespoon
  • Salt, Sea Salt – ¼ teaspoon
  • Black Pepper – ⅛ teaspoon
