How to Make It

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and line a shallow oven tray with baking paper.

Step 2

Lay the bacon on the tray and brush with half of the syrup. Transfer to the oven to bake for 10-12 minutes until crisp and golden. Set aside to cool completely.

Step 3

Reduce the oven temperature to 350 degrees. Add the almonds, pecans, olive oil, paprika, salt and remaining lakanto to a small mixing bowl. Stir well to combine, coating the nuts in the seasonings.

Step 4

Arrange the seasoned nuts across the same tray used to cook the bacon. Transfer to the oven and toast for 12-15 minutes until golden. Set aside to cool completely.

Step 5

Roughly chop the cranberries and add to a mixing bowl with the toasted nuts, chocolate chips and crumble in the bacon. Stir well to combine before serving.

Ingredients

  • Olive oil – 2 tsp
  • Bacon, pork – 1 slice – 6″ long
  • 100% Unsweerened Dark Chocolate Baking Chips – 1 tbsp
  • Maple Flavored Syrup – 1 tbsp
  • Gourmet Collection Smoked Paprika – 1 tsp
  • Reduced Sugar Craisin Dried Cranberries by Ocean Spray – 1 tablespoon
  • Almonds – 0.33 cup, whole
  • Pecans, raw – 0.33 cup
  • Salt, sea salt – 0.13 tsp
