This hearty dish combines the bold flavors of seasoned ground beef, creamy eggs, and gooey cheese, all baked together into a golden masterpiece. Perfect for those following carnivore meal plans, this recipe offers a simple yet flavorful twist on traditional tacos. With just a handful of ingredients and minimal prep time, you can enjoy a delicious taco-inspired meal that’s as satisfying as it is convenient. Enjoy!

How to Make It

Step 1

Heat a large pan over medium-high heat. Lightly grease with some olive oil or cooking spray and add the beef. Cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the taco seasoning and stir well. Continue to cook for another 1-2 minutes. Remove from the heat and drain the beef. Set it aside.

Step 2

Crack the eggs into a bowl. Pour in the heavy cream and mix well. Optionally, season with some salt or black pepper.

Step 3

Preheat the oven to 180°C (355°F). Shred the cheese. Add the beef to the bottom of a round pan. Add half of the shredded cheese.

Step 4

Pour in the egg mixture and top with the remaining cheese. Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown on top. Remove from the oven and let it sit for 5-10 minutes before slicing.

Step 5

Cut the taco pie into 4 equal pieces. Serve immediately or store for later. Optionally, top with sour cream and garnish with fresh parsley.
