Keto hibiscus and ginger tea is a wonderful and refreshing combination for warm summer days. This healthy combination is a perfect addition to your breakfast or simply when you wish for a cup of delicious and healthy tea. We have decided to add some fresh ginger and lemon juice to this classic tea recipe to enhance its flavor but also to boost its overall health benefits. You can also add a few drops of freshly squeezed orange juice – it will taste perfect. This Keto hibiscus and ginger ice tea can also be served warm. In that case, make sure to serve it immediately and enjoy it as any other regular tea. It can be served alone or alongside your favorite Keto snacks.
How to Make It
Step 1
Heat water either on the stovetop or in a kettle to a boil. Add dried hibiscus flowers and stir well. Cover and let it sit.
Step 2
Soak for about 10 minutes. Strain and discard the used hibiscus flowers. Stir all well again.
Step 3
Stir in the maple-flavored syrup and lemon juice. Add sliced lemon and fresh ginger. Cool completely before serving.
Step 4
Transfer the chilled tea to serving glasses. Optionally, add a few drops of lemon juice. Garnish with fresh mint and serve with ice.
