Step 1
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Cut the ends off of your turnips and peel them. Lay them flat on a cutting board and cut the ends off of them so they form the shape of a square or rectangular.
Step 2
Cut them in strips and then cut the strips so you have a bunch of 1” cubes when you’re finished.
Step 3
Toss the cubes in oil, then add salt, smoked paprika, black pepper and garlic powder.
Step 4
Lay the cubes out on a parchment-covered baking sheet. They’ll roast best if you spread them out so they are not touching or barely touching.
Step 5
Roast in the oven for 30 minutes. Flip the cubes over with a spatula and roast for another 20 minutes, or until the start to brown slightly. Enjoy!
