These quick and easy noodles are made with strips of tender red cabbage and aromatic scallions.These make a great base to any stir fried dish in place of traditional noodles or as an accompaniment to spiced meatballs.
How to Make It
Step 1
Remove the tips of the scallions and any stringy outer leaves and discard. Slice the scallions lengthwise into thin strips.
Step 2
Slice the cabbage into 1/2 inch strips. Heat the coconut oil in a large skillet over a medium/ high heat. Add the cabbage strips and cook for 3-4 minutes until tender.
Step 3
Add the scallion strips and stir well. Cook for a further 2 minutes until the scallions are tender and starting to wilt a little.
Step 4
Remove the pan from the heat and add the tamari, sesame oil and lime juice. Stir well to combine.
