These citrusy green beans are rich with butter, zesty lemon, aromatic garlic and tangy parmesan cheese.These make a great side to grilled chicken or pork.
How to Make It
Step 1
Add the green beans to a pan of boiling water and simmer for 4-5 minutes until tender. Drain completely.
Step 2
Melt the butter in a skillet over a low/medium heat. Thinly slice the garlic and add to the pan, sweating gently until tender. Add the green beans and toss to combine, sauté for a minute.
Step 3
Add the lemon juice, zest and thyme and stir well. Cook for a minute more.
Step 4
Remove from the heat and scatter with the grated parmesan, toss to combine.
