Add the tomato puree and balsamic vinegar to a small saucepan over a gentle heat and stir together to combine.
Add the garlic powder, onion powder, cinnamon, paprika, celery salt, cloves and xylitol. Stir into the tomato mixture.
Add the water to the pan, stirring everything together well.
Bring the mixture to a gentle boil then simmer for 10 minutes until you have a thick tomato sauce. Cool and serve.
