Add the cream cheese and goats cheese to a mixing bowl with the lemon zest and stir well to combine. Transfer the mixture to the fridge to firm for 10 minutes whilst you prepare the coating.

Finely chop the tomato, basil and chives and add to a mixing bowl. Season with black pepper and mix well to combine.

Remove the cream cheese from the fridge and form into a rough log shape with your hands.

Tip the coating mixture onto a plate or clean work surface and roll the cheese log into the mixture until completely coated on all sides.
Step 5
Once the cheese is well covered, cover with plastic wrap and return to the fridge to firm for 30 minutes before serving.
