Dice the broccoli into even bite-sized florets and arrange across a shallow oven tray. Add the pecans and drizzle over the oil and syrup. Sprinkle over the paprika, salt and pepper and use your hands to rub the seasonings into the broccoli and pecans.

Transfer to the oven and bake for 18-20 minutes or until the broccoli is tender and the pecans are golden.
