A sloppy joe is one of my weeknight favorite go-to meals! The sloppy joe is served on top of Keto cheddar almond biscuits, but feel free to use any other Keto-friendly bread. Please use the Keto Cheddar Drop Biscuits for this recipe: https://www.carbmanager.com/recipe/keto-cheddar-drop-biscuits. The macros for the biscuits are not factored into this recipe, so be sure to calculate those separately.

How to Make It

Step 1

Preheat a medium-sized nonstick saute pan over medium-high heat. Add in the oil. Then add in diced white onion and diced green bell pepper. Cook for 1 minute until translucent, adding ¼ teaspoon of kosher salt.

Step 2

Add the ground beef and stir breaking up the meat slightly. Add in the mustard and ½ teaspoon of kosher salt. Continue cooking until it is no longer pink.

Step 3

Add in the sugar-free ketchup, brown sweetener and Worcestershire sauce. Stir until combined.

Step 4

Spoon sloppy joe over a slider biscuit and serve!

  • Avocado Oil – 2 teaspoon
  • White Onion – ½ cup
  • Green Bell Pepper – ⅓ cup
  • Coarse Kosher Salt by Morton – ¼ tsp
  • Sugar Free Ketchup by G Hughes – ½ cup
  • Mustard Powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Brown Sugar Replacement by Swerve – 2 tablespoon
  • Worcestershire Sauce – 1 teaspoon
  • Coarse Kosher Salt by Morton – ¼ tsp
