A sloppy joe is one of my weeknight favorite go-to meals! The sloppy joe is served on top of Keto cheddar almond biscuits, but feel free to use any other Keto-friendly bread. The macros for the biscuits are not factored into this recipe, so be sure to calculate those separately.
How to Make It
Step 1
Preheat a medium-sized nonstick saute pan over medium-high heat. Add in the oil. Then add in diced white onion and diced green bell pepper. Cook for 1 minute until translucent, adding ¼ teaspoon of kosher salt.
Step 2
Add the ground beef and stir breaking up the meat slightly. Add in the mustard and ½ teaspoon of kosher salt. Continue cooking until it is no longer pink.
Step 3
Add in the sugar-free ketchup, brown sweetener and Worcestershire sauce. Stir until combined.
