To make the cocktail quickly, choose a martini glass or something similar that will be safe in your freezer. Wet a paper towel until it’s damp, squeeze out the excess water, and wrap the paper towel around the glass. Set the wrapped glass in your freezer for just 5 minutes to flash-chill the glass.

Make the cocktail mixer by squeezing fresh lemon juice through a sieve to remove any seeds or pulp. If it’s in season, this would be an excellent opportunity to feature a sweet-tasting lemon, like a Meyer lemon. Add a drop of agave and liquid stevia to the drink.
Step 3
To assemble the drink, fill a shaker with ice cubes, tear 1 or 2 cilantro leaves, and add them to the shaker. Add vodka, mezcal, and lemonade mixer. Shake the cocktail well until it’s frothy, then pour it through the top of the shaker into your chilled glass. You can garnish the cocktail with additional cilantro leaves or a twist of lemon.
