Pour the water into a medium-sized pot. Bring to a full boil on the stovetop. Once boiled, remove from the heat and soak the green tea bags and fresh mint. Cover with a lid and let it sit for 5 minutes.

When done, remove the green tea bags and mint. Add the sweetener and mix well. Taste and, optionally, add some more sweetener. You can also add a few drops of lemon juice.

Transfer the tea to serving glasses or cups. Garnish with fresh mint and sliced lemon. Serve immediately.
