Add the green beans to a small saucepan of boiling water. Add a little pinch of salt and simmer for 3-4 minutes until fork tender. Drain completely and steam dry.
Step 2
Whilst the beans are cooking, add the lakanto syrup, mustard, 1 tablespoon of olive oil and a pinch of salt and pepper to a small bowl. Whisk together until smooth.
Step 3
Heat the remaining oil in a skillet over a low/medium heat. Crush the garlic and add to the pan, sweating gently until tender. Add the green beans and cook for a minute more.
Step 4
Drizzle over the maple mustard dressing and stir well to combine. Increase the heat and cook for 30-40 seconds more until hot through.
