Peel and mince the ginger into small pieces. Preheat a large skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Add the oil and swirl to coat the pan. Add the ginger and saute for 30 seconds.
Step 2
Add the ground beef and break up the meat with a wooden spoon and cook until barely pink. Add the soy sauce and the kosher salt and continue cooking the meat until fully cooked.
Step 3
Add in the peas and cook until the peas are heated through—taste adding more salt or soy sauce if desired.
