How to Make It

Step 1

Remove the outer leaves of the cabbage and cut them into quarters. Thinly slice the cabbage on a mandolin. Place it into a bowl.

Step 2

To the same bowl, add the remaining ingredients. Toss and taste adjusting any seasonings to your liking. Serve immediately or allow to chill for a couple of hours before serving.

Ingredients

  • Cabbage, green, raw – 0.25 large – head – approx 7″ diameter
  • Coarse Kosher Salt – 0.5 tsp
  • Gochugaru Korean Red Hot Chili Pepper Flakes – 2 tbsp
  • Natural Rice Vinegar – 1.5 tbsp
  • Extra virgin olive oil – 1 tbsp
  • Sesame oil – 1 tsp
