The teas listed here can all be purchased in tea bags from many popular brands and stores. If you happen to own these ingredients in their natural form, you can also brew them at your desired strength (you may need to brew for longer). If you’re looking for dried calendula, you may have the most luck finding it in a loose leaf tea.
Step 2
Bring 8-12 fl oz water to a boil in a kettle using your preferred method. If you’re using tea bags or loose leaf tea, steep the ginger, cinnamon, and calendula for 4 minutes but raw ingredients in their natural state may need to steep for longer, depending on their freshness. After steeping, stir the lemon juice and apple cider vinegar into the tea and discard any tea bags, although you may wish to leave a cinnamon stick for stirring the tea.
Step 3
Taste the tea and adjust it to your liking. You can include more lemon juice for extra Vitamin C or apple cider vinegar if you enjoy the taste. If you would like to sweeten the tea, liquid stevia drops might be your best option since you should only need 1-2 drops for a cup. Drink a cup of tea once a day or several times throughout the week.
