Dukkah spice has a wonderful flavor and is made of a mixture of nuts like sesame seeds, hazelnuts, pistachios, cashews and herbs like coriander, fennel, and cumin. It makes for a great topping on this flatbread! Feel free to replace dukkah with any other seasoning!*4 grams of spice = 1 teaspoon
How to Make It
Step 1
Preheat an oven to 350 F. Melt the chihuahua cheese and cream cheese together in a microwave safe bowl for 30 seconds. Adding another 20-30 seconds as needed until melted. Mix together well.
Step 2
Add the egg and almond flour. Mix well again.
Step 3
Spray a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray. Spread the dough onto the sheet and spread it evenly into a thin layer making the whole flatbread about 9” in diameter. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of dukkah spice evenly on top.
Step 4
Bake for 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and use a spatula to release the flatbread by getting under it from all sides. Then bake for another 3-5 minutes until the flatbread is nicely browned.
Step 5
Remove to a cooling rack and allow to cool slightly before cutting it into 8 wedges.
