How to Make It

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

Step 2

Add the ground pork to a mixing bowl along with the oregano, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Mix well with your hands to combine.

Step 3

Divide the pork mince into 8 even portions and flatten into patties with your hands across a shallow oven tray.

Step 4

Add the cream cheese and parmesan to a mixing bowl. Finely chop the basil and add to the bowl along with a pinch of black pepper. Mix well to combine.

Step 5

Place a heaped teaspoon of cream cheese in the center of each patty.

Step 6

Carefully mold the edges of the pork up around the cream cheese filling, securing it in the center.

Step 7

Transfer to the oven to bake for 18-20 minutes or until the pork is golden and completely cooked through.
