These easy Keto chicken drumsticks are coated in a festive marinade and make a great low carb recipe for the holidays. Our Keto chicken drumsticks are coated in a marinade of oil, maple-flavored syrup, warming ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg, a little orange juice, and a hint of garlic. Once marinaded, the chicken is simply oven baked until tender and golden.
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Add the olive oil, syrup, orange juice, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, black pepper and garlic powder to a small bowl. Stir well to combine. You may add more or less spices according to personal taste. Please be sure to adjust your macros to reflect any changes.
Add the chicken drumsticks to a large bowl or dish. Drizzle over the sweet ginger marinade. Rub the marinade all over the chicken drumsticks. Cover and refrigerate for a minimum of 30 minutes or overnight.
Arrange the marinated chicken drumsticks across a shallow oven tray. Transfer to the oven and bake for 35 minutes or until caramelized and golden and completely cooked through. Serve with your preferred low carb sides.
