This simple yet flavorsome recipe takes low carb celery and bakes it in an oozy cheese sauce. This is a great side dish to accompany grilled chicken or steaks.
How to Make It
Step 1
Slice the celery sticks in half across the center, then add the celery to a large pan of boiling water and simmer for 4-5 minutes until just tender.
Step 2
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Drain the celery and arrange in an oven proof dish.
Step 3
Add the cream, ½ cup of cheese, stock, salt and pepper to a small pan over a low/medium heat. Stir to combine and cook gently until the cheese has melted and the sauce has thickened and reduced slightly.
Step 4
Pour the cheese sauce over the celery sticks. Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top.

Transfer to the oven to bake for 18-20 minutes until golden brown and bubbling.
