Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan over a medium heat and add the bacon. Fry until golden brown on both sides – about 5 minutes.
Step 2
Leave the bacon to cool in the pan whilst you prepare the mayonnaise. Add the mayo to a mixing bowl with the smoked paprika, celery salt, tomato puree, mustard, garlic powder and black pepper. Mix well to combine.
Step 3
Once the bacon is cool, cut into small pieces and add to a mixing bowl along with all the bacon cooking fats.
Step 4
Tip the cold chopped bacon into the mayonnaise mixture and stir well to combine.
Step 5
Chill before serving.
