Slice each strip of bacon in half across the center. Take six of the cut strips and arrange in alternating layers to create a lattice. Repeat with the remaining strips so that you have three lattice squares.

Carefully transfer each lattice into the cup of a muffin tray, pressing the center down into the bottom of the tin.

Transfer to the oven to bake for 12-15 minutes or until cooked through and golden brown all over.
