Slice the avocado in half lengthways, and remove the stone from the center.
Add the crème fraiche, lemon juice, dill and capers to a mixing bowl and mash together to combine.
Flake the mackerel into the mixing bowl and stir into the dressing to coat.
To serve, divide the mackerel mixture evenly between the two avocado halves.
