Keto Passover recipes are a fantastic combination of traditional holiday recipes made with low-carb ingredients. This Keto gefilte fish is easy to prepare and can last for days in the refrigerator for the entire family to enjoy. Some traditional gefilte fish recipes require more or less sugar, while others don’t. For this reason, we have decided to add a small amount of sweetener to the recipe, which is completely optional and depends on your taste. We have also replaced the usual matzah meal with almond flour, a perfect low-carb substitute. Serve your gefilte fish with some low-carb vegetables of your choice, and enjoy!
How to Make It
Step 1
Chop the fish fillets into smaller pieces. Add to a food processor. Process for 10-15 seconds.
Step 2
Finely chop the onion. Roughly chop the parsley. Add the onion, parsley, eggs, sweetener, salt, pepper, and almond flour to a food processor.
Step 3
Process until thoroughly combined. Shape the mixture into 12 oval patties. Set them aside.
Step 4
Pour the fish broth into a large pot. Add the patties and bring them to a boil. Reduce the heat to medium and cook for 25 minutes.
Step 5
When done, remove the patties from the broth using a slotted spoon. Cool for at least 15 minutes before serving. They pairs perfectly with fresh low-carb vegetables of choice.
