These delicious crumbed artichoke fries are the perfect addition to parties, gatherings, and holidays. Besides the artichoke hearts, you only need five more ingredients to prepare them. The artichoke fries are excellent as an appetizer, snack, or side dish.
How to Make It
Step 1
Preheat your air fryer to 350F/180C. Place the artichoke hearts between layers of kitchen paper. Squeeze out as much moisture as you can.
Step 2
To a bowl, add the egg and coconut flour. Whisk until a thick batter forms. In another bowl, whisk together the almond flour and parmesan cheese.
Step 3
Slice each artichoke heart into eight long pieces. Dip the artichoke pieces in the egg batter, then coat them in the dry crumb. Make sure the fries are coated well with the batter and dry mixture.
Step 4
Repeat with the remaining artichoke pieces and transfer them to a plate. Place half the coated artichoke pieces in the air fryer and cook for 15-18 minutes until crispy. Take them out of the fryer and fry the remaining pieces.
Step 5
Once both batches are cooked, transfer them to a serving platter. Place your desired dipping sauce in a small bowl next to the fries. Serve warm.
