Embarking on the low-carb journey as a beginner can be both exciting and challenging. This baby iceberg sandwich emerges as a tasty solution, offering not only ease of preparation but also a satisfying crunch that makes it an ideal addition to the repertoire of quick and easy recipes.

How to Make It

Step 1

Cut the baby iceberg in half. Spread your favorite condiments on the lettuce halves. We used truffle mayo and Dijon mustard, but feel free to use your preferred condiments.

Step 2

Add the turkey and salami slices to one half and the cheese to the other half. Add slices of red onion and tomato. Season with freshly cracked pepper.

Step 3

Place the other half of the baby iceberg on top, creating a "sandwich." Carefully cut it in half. Enjoy!

  • Just Mayo, Truffle 1 tbsp
  • Dijon mustard 0.5 tbsp
  • Turkey Breast Sliced Prepackaged Or Deli Meat 1 oz
  • Hard Salami, Sliced 4 slices
  • Mozzarella cheese, whole milk 1 slice (from pre-sliced package) – each 3/4 ounce
  • Onion 1 ring
  • Tomato 1 thin slice – 1/8" thick
  • Black pepper 0.25 tsp
