Iced green tea with mint, ginger, and lemon is a nutritious and revitalizing beverage for those warm days. One glass will quench your thirst and provide you with abundant antioxidants. Making iced tea with green tea, as opposed to black tea, gives you a mellow and aromatic flavor with added health benefits.

How to Make It

Step 1

Add the boiling water and ginger to a pot and place it over medium heat. Simmer for 5 minutes, then add the green tea bags and half the mint leaves. Turn off the heat, cover with a lid, and steep for 15 minutes.

Step 2

Remove the bags and strain the tea, separating the liquid from the mint and ginger. Add the cold water and stevia. Taste and adjust sweetness to your liking.

Step 3

Slice the lemon and add the slices to a pitcher with the remaining mint. Transfer to the fridge and let it cool completely.

Step 4

When ready to serve, add a couple of ice cubes to a glass. Pour the cooled green tea along with some mint leaves and lemon slices. Serve immediately.
