Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a small baking dish with parchment paper. Brush the salmon fillets with olive oil and season with salt, chives, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and basil.

Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown and fully cooked. When done, remove from the oven. Optionally, season with some more salt or black pepper to taste.

Meanwhile, prepare the avocado salsa. Peel and finely chop the avocado. Peel and finely chop the onion. Finely chop the parsley. Optionally, add one sliced chili. Season everything with salt and lime juice. Mix to combine.

Transfer the salmon to serving plates. Top with the prepared avocado salsa. Serve immediately!
