Preheat your oven to 400F/200C. Finely chop the onion and mince the garlic. Add 2 tbsp butter to a skillet over medium heat.
Step 2
Add the onion to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant. Transfer to a bowl.
Step 3
Add grated parmesan, almond flour, ¼ tsp salt, ¼ tsp black pepper. Mash the ingredients together with a fork.
Step 4
Slice the beef tenderloin into 4 equal steaks. Season the steaks with salt and pepper on both sides. Add 2 tbsp of butter to a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steaks for 3 minutes on each side until browned.
Step 5
Top the steaks with the parmesan cheese mixture, then place in the oven for 5-6 for medium or more for well done. Transfer the steaks to a plate and cover with foil. Let rest for 10 minutes.
Step 6
Serve the parmesan crusted steaks with your choice of sides. Enjoy!
