Add the meat, egg, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper to a bowl. Mix well until combined. Optionally, add some fresh or dried herbs to the mixture.

Heat the olive oil over medium heat. Form the mixture into 14 balls. Gently press each ball to create patties. Add them to the pan.
Step 3
Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side or until fully cooked through and golden brown. Transfer to a large platter and repeat until you have used up all the meat. Depending on the size of your pan, you will have to cook them in several batches.
Step 4
When done, use two patties as “burger buns”. Serve each with a slice of cheddar. Optionally, serve with a fried egg or some bacon. Enjoy!
