Add the butter to a mixing bowl and bring to room temperature so that it is soft and mashable.

Finely chop the capers, parsley and anchovies and add to the bowl with the butter along with the lemon zest. Mash everything together well to combine.

Spoon the butter onto a sheet of plastic wrap or baking paper and mold into a log shape with your hands. Tightly wrap the butter, securing both ends and refrigerate for 30 minutes until firm. Slice to serve.
