Melt a generous tablespoon of coconut oil in a large skillet over a medium heat. Add the frozen green beans. Stir fry the beans allowing them to thaw a little. Add the vegetable stock. Bring to a simmer and cook the beans for 8 minutes to heat through. All the stock should be evaporated.
Step 2
Thinly slice the garlic. Add the syrup, tamari sauce, sliced garlic, and sesame oil to the skillet. Stir well to combine. Cook for 2-3 minutes more in the flavorings until the beans start to brown and caramelize in places.
Step 3
Add the sesame seeds and chili flakes to the skillet. Stir well to coat the beans. Pan fry for a minute more. The beans should be golden and tender. Serve hot.
