How to Make It

Step 1

Wash and dry cucumber. Trim the ends of the cucumber with a sharp knife. Feel free to peel the skin from the cucumber, if desired, but it can be left intact. Then cut the cucumber into ¼” slices. Take each slice of a cucumber and cut out the center of it using a small cookie cutter. Be sure the cookie cutter fits right in the center of the cucumber slice so as to not break the edges. Use the same cookie-cutter shape to cut shapes from the two slices of cheese. The cut cheese shapes should fit perfectly inside the cucumbers. Keep chilled until ready to serve.

Step 2

Mix the remaining ingredients together to make the sour cream ranch dip. Serve the filled cucumber slices with the ranch dip.

Ingredients

  • Cucumber – 0.25 medium
  • Provolone cheese, natural – 1 slice (from pre-sliced package) – each 3/4 ounce
  • Cheddar cheese – 1 slice (from pre-sliced package) – each 3/4 ounce
  • Sour cream – 0.25 cup
  • Salt – 0.25 teaspoon
  • Garlic powder – 0.13 teaspoon
  • Dill weed, dried – 1 teaspoon
