Gather your ingredients for the recipe. Make sure your coconut oil is at room temperature and your avocado is ripe. An underripe avocado will not taste very good in this recipe. It’s recommended you use golden flax as well for the smoothest flavor.

Add all the ingredients to a blender. Blend the ingredients until your smooth shake comes together. Taste and adjust the sweetness or chocolate flavor to your taste.
Step 3
At this point, you can add 1-2 ice cubes to thicken the shake or a scoop of protein powder (check the introduction for more information). Pour the shake into 8-ounce glasses for serving. Keep cold, and freeze any leftovers.
