How to Make It

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 180C/350F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Cut the broccoli into florets and mince the garlic. To the baking sheet, add the broccoli florets, olive oil, salt, black pepper, lemon juice, lemon zest, and minced garlic. Toss to coat evenly.

Step 2

Arrange the broccoli florets with the cut side facing down. Then, transfer the baking sheet to the oven and bake for 20 minutes until the broccoli is lightly charred. Feel free to toss the broccoli halfway through baking for an even color.

Step 3

Serve the broccoli on to a serving plate. Garnish with a crack of fresh black pepper. This baked broccoli can be served with any sauce of choice, such as a tahini dressing or yogurt lime dressing.
