Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Add the harissa paste, low carb maple syrup, lemon juice and olive oil to a small bowl. Mix well to combine.

Arrange the chicken pieces across a shallow oven tray and season with salt and pepper. Baste the chicken pieces in half the marinade. Transfer to the oven to bake for 25 minutes.
Step 3
Remove the chicken thighs from the oven. Brush the remaining harissa sauce over the chicken thighs. Return to the oven for a further 10 minutes or until the chicken is entirely cooked through and the skin is crisp and golden. Serve with your preferred low carb sides.
