Slice the mushrooms. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the mushrooms and cook for 10 minutes.

Remove the mushrooms from the pan. Add the sliced pepperoni to the pan and cook for 30 seconds on each side. Remove from the pan.

Crack the eggs into a bowl. Add the salt and dried oregano. Whisk well to combine. Optionally, add a pinch of black pepper or cayenne.

Slice the bell pepper. Slice the cherry tomatoes. Pour the egg mixture into the pan and add the tomatoes and peppers. Cover with a lid and cook for 8-10 minutes over medium-low heat.

Shred the mozzarella cheese. Add the prepared mushrooms to the pan and top everything with pepperoni. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella on top. Cover with a lid and cook for about 2 minutes until the cheese melts.

When done, remove the skillet from the heat. Optionally, sprinkle everything with some more salt, black pepper, or dried oregano. Garnish with fresh basil and serve immediately.
