Wash and cut the pepper in half. Remove the seeds and roughly chop the pepper. Set it aside.

Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces. Heat the sesame oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 10-12 minutes or until cooked through.

Add the pepper and stir well. Continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes. The pepper should remain slightly crunchy.
Step 4
Add the chili garlic sauce and hoisin sauce. Mix well and cook for another 1-2 minutes. Taste and optionally add some salt or black pepper.
Step 5
Remove from the heat and transfer to serving bowls. Garnish with some chopped cilantro or spring onions. Serve immediately.
